My Beautiful Mama—A True Warrior
Today is National Cancer Day, and I couldn’t let it pass without honoring the strongest woman I know—my incredible mama.
6 ½ years ago, she was given just six months to live after being diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. But if you know my mom, you know she doesn’t back down from a fight. She is still here, still standing, still showing up for life with grace and strength. She continues to battle through chemotherapy, and despite everything cancer has tried to take from her, it has never taken her spirit.
She is my inspiration, my heart, and my hero. I have watched her endure pain, loss, and countless challenges, yet she continues to love fiercely and live fully. Cancer is cruel, and the journey has been anything but easy, but my mama is a testament to resilience and faith.
I love you more than words can say, and I am so grateful for every moment I get with you. Keep fighting, beautiful warrior!
